Junior Project Manager

NetBet is looking for junior project manager to join on an exciting journey.

PMs at NetBet are responsible to deliver a successful launch of the features and products, while making sure the R&D teams are focused, optimized productive and motivated.

In that way, a PM acts as project manager and as agile coacher for one or more R&D team.

We also perceive the PMs as the glue between “what to build” which is defined by the product owners and the “how to build” which is led by the developer leads.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead R&D team’s development process (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban)
  • Schedule R&D resources (e.g. developers, QA)
  • You will make sure that the R&D teams have sufficient work at all time
  • Bridge any gaps, bottlenecks and holdbacks on the teams.
  • Coordinate releases and demos.
  • Drive team productivity, motivation and productivity.
  • Measure deliverables, releases and members of the team for success.
    (collaborate with the Product Owner and dev lead as needed with this regards).
  • Identify opportunities on the backlog based on values and follow up on them.
  • Ensure delivery on time, within scope.
  • Drive projects and teams from the planning phase.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Risk management

Requirements

  • 1-year experience as project manager.
  • Experience in leading R&D team in an agile process such as SCRUM or KANBAN.
  • A Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals and commitments are met.
  • You have a technical background, and previously had experience as member of an R&D department.
  • You’re ambitious, independent and dedicated, and willing to get hands-on solving any problems needing help to move forward.
  • Great communicator.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • SCRUM master – advantage
